Customer Feedback: How We Completed an Entire Prototype Parts Set in Just 5 Days?

One of our recent projects pushed our team to the limit—and we delivered.

A European automation equipment customer approached us urgently, needing a full set of precision-machined prototype parts for their testing phase. The catch? They needed the entire set within 5 days. No extensions. No compromises. Just results.

Here’s how we made it happen—and what the customer said.

1. Clear Communication from Day One

From the moment we received the technical drawings, our engineering team immediately reviewed every detail with the customer via a quick video call. Dimensions, tolerances, material types, and surface treatments were clarified to eliminate back-and-forth during production.

Takeaway: Rapid delivery starts with zero ambiguity.

2. Rapid Prototyping Workflow

We implemented our internal fast-track machining protocol, which includes:

  • Prioritized production slots for urgent parts
  • Round-the-clock shifts (including weekends)
  • Parallel CNC programming and toolpath optimization while material was being prepped

We also leveraged our in-house 4-axis and 5-axis CNC centers, allowing us to complete complex geometries with fewer setups and higher precision.

Material Used: Aluminum 6061 + some stainless steel inserts
Surface Finish: Anodizing (matte black) on key external components

3. Integrated Quality Control

Even in a compressed timeline, we never sacrifice quality. Every part was inspected using:

  • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
  • Profile projector
  • Manual calipers and gauges
with full dimensional reports attached for customer verification.

4. Efficient Logistics Coordination

By working with our logistics partners in advance, we arranged overnight international shipping. All parts were individually labeled, packed with anti-scratch film, and protected with foam inserts. Customs documents were prepared upfront, including HS codes, commercial invoice, and RoHS declarations.

5. What the Customer Said

“We’re truly impressed. The parts arrived exactly as designed—with clean anodizing, tight tolerances, and clearly labeled packages. You saved us at least 10 days of development time.”
